RAM Tracking announced as a Finalist at the British Excellence in Sales Marketing Awards 2016

RAM Tracking has been announced as a Finalist in the ‘Innovation in Sales’ category at the upcoming British Excellence in Sales and Marketing Awards (BESMA). Following the latest round of judging, RAM Tracking was selected from hundreds of nominations for the category Innovation in Sales, which is given to a sales organisation that has demonstrated innovation and excellence through the use of technology to improve sales operations, drive sales growth, and improve customer satisfaction.

RAM impressed judges by working with cloud-based incentive solutions provider Xactly to create a bespoke compensation system for each of their sales employees. The new system allows the RAM sales team to access real-time information on performance so in turn they are more motivated and engaged with targets, meaning they achieve greater rewards for themselves and more revenue for the business.

The awards, which are now celebrating their 30th year, seek to reward the efforts of the individuals and teams that drive company performance, as well as recognising the roles played by sales professionals in driving the UK economy forward. Previous winners have included Virgin Media, Yell & E-ON.

Chris McClellan, Co-founder and CEO of RAM Tracking commented: “We were delighted when we received the news that we’d been shortlisted for the Innovation in Sales Award. Last year we celebrated our tenth anniversary and since then have seen a tremendous increase in new business sales which is testament to the hard work and commitment of our growing team. Recognising and rewarding such efforts has been pivotal to our success as through giving staff real-time information on performance, they are more motivated and engaged with targets, which means they achieve greater rewards for themselves and more revenue for the business.”

Julian Reid, Business Development Director from the award organisers The Institute of Sales and Marketing Management, commented: “We’re very excited about BESMA 2016 as it will be our largest ceremony to date. Each finalist should feel incredibly proud to be shortlisted as this was one of our toughest shortlisting finals we have seen.”

The awards ceremony will take place at The Grosvenor Hotel, London on March 9th 2016 where comedian Dara Ó Briain will present winners with the prestigious award followed by entertainment produced by the Eurythmics co-founder Dave Stewart.
