Business Development Representative
If you're a natural at building rapport and starting conversations, this is the role for you. You'll join a growing team in Leeds, booking the appointments that help us win new business.
Do you enjoy striking up a conversation and turning it into an opportunity? RAM is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to connect with prospective clients, book quality appointments, and help our Business Development team win new business.
This is a role for anyone who enjoys the buzz of a good conversation and knows how to turn it into an opportunity. You'll get hands on experience with the full sales process, from that first conversation through to a booked demo, working alongside a team that celebrates the wins together.

RAM delivers fleet management and job management software to more than 23,000 businesses across the UK and North America, backed by over 20 years of experience in the industry. We help organisations track vehicles, manage field teams, and run their operations more efficiently.
RAM was acquired by Klipboard (previously known as Kerridge Commercial Systems) in 2025, strengthening our position in the market and expanding what we can offer clients across fleet and field service management. As the group continues to grow, this is a genuinely exciting time to join.
What you'll be doing
- Connecting with prospective clients across a range of industries
- Booking high quality online appointments for our Business Development team
- Managing both inbound and outbound conversations
- Working collaboratively with Business Development Executives to win new business
- Tracking performance and celebrating milestones as a team
- Supporting diary coordination and light admin tasks
What we're looking for
- You enjoy building rapport and having engaging conversations
- You're curious, proactive, and motivated to learn
- You have experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service, or you're looking to move into a commercial role
- You can communicate clearly and confidently
- You thrive in a team oriented, fast paced environment
