RAM is looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Leeds. This is a great fit for a sales professional who thrives in a target driven environment and enjoys building strong client relationships from the first conversation through to a signed deal.

You'll take ownership of the full sales cycle, introducing prospective customers to our solutions through engaging product demonstrations, delivered mainly over Microsoft Teams. The role blends self-generated opportunities with qualified leads passed over from our BDR team.

This is a full-time, office-based role in Leeds, suited to someone who enjoys working closely with a team while staying focused on hitting their own numbers.

RAM was acquired by Kerridge Commercial Systems, now rebranding as Klipboard, strengthening our position in the market and expanding what we can offer clients across fleet and field service management. What you'll be doing

  • Delivering professional product demonstrations to prospective customers
  • Managing and growing a pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Generating new business through outbound prospecting
  • Converting inbound and BDR qualified opportunities
  • Building strong relationships and understanding customer needs
  • Consistently achieving sales targets and KPIs
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and following up on all opportunities

What we're looking for

Required:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Confidence delivering virtual demos and handling objections
  • Self motivated, resilient, and target driven
  • Comfortable working in a KPI driven environment
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft tools

Desirable:

  • B2B sales experience
  • Exposure to SaaS or technology led solutions
  • A consultative or demo led approach to selling
