2017 is likely to be a difficult year for SMEs. Brexit uncertainty remains a disruptive factor and the weaker pound combined with rising costs are bound to undermine plans to invest.

Therefore, when Chancellor Philip Hammond announced late last year that the Government will be scrapping most salary sacrifice schemes, it came as a major blow to many businesses who regard such schemes as vital to attract and retain talent.
